NAHTAM Social Responsibility is organizing “Are You The One Among Five,”a Quit Smoking Awareness Campaign, in view of the increasing number of smokers and death due to tobacco consumption in the UAE according to health authority figures. In the light of this issue, it has become imperative to spread awareness about the harmful effects of smoking and its consequences. 

However, the health impacts of smoking have been drummed down so much that the youth has become immune. So we went about from a different angle where we aimed to change teenagers’ attitude towards smoking by making smoking and its effects uncool, listing out all the ways (terrible skin, eye bags, bad smell) through interesting graphics. The Campaign will be a continuous one taking place in Malls, corporate offices, government departments, universities, public parks, beaches, social and cultural clubs, etc. Our flagship event was atKhalidiyah Mall and was well received.
